He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Kern and Julia Kern (DeMartini); his siblings, Arthur H Kern Jr. and Julia M Harris; and his nephew Taylor Kern.
He is survived by: his wife Evonne; his children, Robert Eric Kern (Adonis) of Scotland, Jeremy Kern (Renee) of Candor, NY, Paul S. Kern and Michelle Ulrich (William) of Florida; his siblings, Rose Blinn (Randy) of Candor, NY and Paul J. Kern of Colorado; his siblings-in-law, Barbara Kern of Willseyville, NY and James Harris of Candor, NY.; his grandchildren, Katelyn Bordenet, Raina Kern, Teresa Kern and Cecilia Kern; and his great grandchild Elliana Faucett. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home (137 Main St, Candor, NY 13743). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Maple Grove Cemetery (126 Owego Rd, Candor, NY 13743).
