He was predeceased by: his parents, David A. Leighton Sr. and Natalie Bielic Leighton; and his siblings, Robert Leighton and Janice Massung. He is survived by: his children, Tammie Cooper (David), Wendy Harris (Jim), Lawrence Kropp Jr., Laurie Carnes (Ron), Kevin Kropp (Terry), Brian Kropp, Sandra Leighton and David A Leighton III. He is also survived by children, 35 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
