Carmel Delaney Obituary

With solemn reverence, we commemorate Carmel Delaney (Windham, New York), whose life came to an end on March 17, 2025 at the age of 62, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Maureen Gallagher; her sister Joan; and her father-in-law Robert. She is survived by: her father Jim Gallagher; her husband Chris; her children, Sean, Kathleen, Kevin and Michael; her grandchildren, Charlotte and Christopher; and also, Tara, Ellie and Yasmin.

She found joy in gardening, especially when sharing the experience with her granddaughter, Charlotte, and discovered a newfound passion for knitting during the COVID pandemic.

Whenever she was in town and we got together we talked about our families, life on a farm, horses and education! So loved our after Christmas bon fires too! I will never forget her generosity following the floods! She and Chris did so much to help me purchase a new home for a family who lost everything! Sincerely, Bridget”
