With profound sadness, we say goodbye to George Tripsas of Windham, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. George left this world on May 27, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Panigotis Melas and Samuel Tripsas; his wife Kunigunda (Connie); and his sisters, Mary, Betsy and Helen.

He is survived by: his children, Samuel (Pamela), Gus (Carola), Mary (Mike), Chris (Rachel) and Eugenia (Robert). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Decker Funeral Home (5312 NY-23, Windham, NY 12496). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greek Orthodox Church (4752 NY-23, Windham, NY 12496).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in George's memory to the Tunnell to Towers Foundation at T2T.org (http://t2t.org).
