It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Schad of Windsor, New York, who passed away on October 31, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Schad, and Iola Schad, Sr.; his son Edward A. Schad, III; his stepsons, Ezekiel Thompson and David Norris, Jr.; his brothers, Francis, Bernard, John and James Craig Schad; his siblings-in-law, Charles, Jr., Phillip, Ronald, Richard, Robert "Skeet" Mason, Cynthia Balles and Tammy Stone; and his stepfather Richard Dawn.
He is survived by: his wife Tina Mason-Schad; his children, Chrystal Williams (Brian), Mary Jo Jordan and Mickey Schad; his grandchildren, Chelsea Norris, Rosie Mae, Freya Jordan, Ivy Schmitz, Natasha, Adrianna and Tristan Thompson; his sister Mary Jaworski; and his sister-in-law Angel Lavin (Edwin).
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the R. Chase & Son Funeral Home (737 Chenango St, Port Dickinson, NY 13901).
