He was predeceased by: his daughter-in-law Linda Root. He is survived by: his wife Monika; and his children, Jackie Worden (Steve), Alan Root (Kay), Russ Root, Kenny Root (Amy), Roger Cleary (Lin), Richard Cleary (Megan) and Patrick Cleary. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
