He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Montgomery and Mae Montgomery (Gilbo); his spouse Shirley Ramsdell; and his siblings, Michael, James, Carolyn Damon and Patricia Strickland.
He is survived by: his former wife Grace E. Ramsdell; his daughter Lisa; his son-in-law James Lyon of Winthrop; his son David (Sheri Montgomery, Jr.); his grandchildren, Meghann, Scott Cheney, Grace, Joshuah LaShomb, Abigail Lyon, Mario Aguirre, Samuel, Keely Lyon and Joshua Lyon; his sister Gloria McGuire of Syracuse; and his sister-in-law Ellen Montgomery of Altona.
