She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Anna Merrick; her grandmother Edith Anna Fanning; her husband Harold David Paul; her stepsons, Howard Paul and George Paul; her sons, Infant Paul and James Paul; and her brothers, James Merrick (Shirley), Raymond Merrick (Helen), Robert Merrick (Esther), Donald Merrick (Sally) and Richard Merrick (Irene).
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Barbara Thompson (Leon) of St. Cloud, John Paul of St. Cloud and Patrick Paul (Margie) of Orem; her children, Lorrie Ann Scott (Charles) of Wolcott, Thomas Paul (Lorinda "Rinny") of Saugerties and Donald Paul of Martville; her grandchildren, Michael Scott (Mary Catherine "Kate"), Lauren Valencia (Chris) and Suzanne Mayone (Kevin); her great grandchildren, Kaylyn Valencia, Luca Mayone, Carlo Valencia, Elwood Scott and Caterina Mayone; her sister-in-law Sally; her cousin Linda Sorg; and her nephew Richard Merrick, Jr. (Sue). She is also survived by many children and grandchildren.
