He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger P. Utter and Mildred E. Utter (Baldwin); his stepfather Vincent Weston; and his siblings, Francine Devolder and Roger "Jody" Utter.
He is survived by: his sisters, Patricia A. Lippert, Carol VanVleck (Dale) and Vera Baker (Bill); and his niece Kim Mettler (Daniel). He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
