It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Victoria Olivia Murphy (Wolcott, New York), who passed away on May 22, 2026, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Victoria departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Victoria may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Victoria leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband David J. Murphy; her sister Sandy; her daughters, Megan and Erin; and her stepfather Karl Bierwirth.
In lieu of flowers, friends and family are asked to make a donation in her name to NY Common Pantry (nycommonpantry.org), Friends of the Montezuma Wetlands Complex (friendsofmontezuma.org), or the Arizona Justice Project (azjusticeproject.org), to help support the work her daughters do that made her so very proud.
