She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Forrest and Naomi Forrest; her former husband David Kohut; her husband Richard Brass; her children, Kim Calkins (Chad Miller) and Jeremiah David Kohut; her granddaughters, Maggie DeMartin (Neal) and Hannah DiFlavio (Nick); her great grandchild Hallie DeMartin; and her stepchildren, David Brass (Michelle) and Lynette Brass Pettit.
