It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce L. Allington of Woodhull, New York, who passed away on June 24, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaylord E. Colvin and Dorothy L. Colvin (Burr); her husband Joel; her daughter Sheila Woodworth; her grandson Jeremy Patterson; and her brothers, Roy Colvin, Paul Colvin and Warren Colvin.
She is survived by: her children, Brian (Rae Allington) of Woodhull, Darlene (Tom Wright) of Addison and Rita (Shawn Patterson) of Greenwood; her son-in-law Chris Woodworth of Cameron Mills; and her sisters, Jean Wheatcraft of Lakeland, FL, Judy Heckman (Seward Dean) of Springwater and Linda Calkins (Danny) of Bedford, VA. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Community Church of Woodhull (5187 W Main St, Woodhull, NY 14898). A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
