It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Lyba of Woodside, New York, who passed away on April 20, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Edward D. Lynch Funeral Home (43-07 Queens Blvd, Sunnyside, NY 11104). A prayer was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church (48-26 171st St, Fresh Meadows, NY 11365). A burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. John Cemetery (80-01 Metropolitan Ave, Flushing, NY 11379).
