It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffrey Thomas Hopper (Woodside, New York), who passed away on August 22, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. “Dr. Hopper was my main source of encouragement in the music department during my four years in the program at HU. Often I would walk into his office to vent my frustrations. He was always, without fail, available to lend a kind and empathetic ear. Over the years since, I think of and speak of him often. An absolute tremendous musician, and an even better person. Cara, my prayers are with you as you move forward. Here's to one of my all-time favorite's. Someone so special will never be forgotten.”
