He was predeceased by : his mother Sheila; and his brothers, Tom and John. He is survived by : his spouse Mairead Healy Cotter; his father Michael; and his siblings, Pat (Eileen), Mary (John), Finola (Martin), Michael (Annette), Stephen (Susie), Louise (Fergal), Barbara (Barry), Finbar (AnnMarie), Damien (Sarah) and Sheila (Brendan). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations sent to the Bell Foundation.
