He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Avery and Gertrude Snyder Avery; and his sister Helen Burns. He is survived by: his brother-in-law George Burns; his nephews, Brian (Christina Burns) and George Burns (Tammy); and his great-nephews, Sean and Avery.
