He was predeceased by: his parents, Lane Horstmann and Lillian Horstmann (Thompson); and his nephew Karl. He is survived by: his wife Linda Ann Clinton; his sons, George Christopher and Kyle; his granddaughter Milan; his siblings, Lane Jr. (Linda) and Lorinda Boyd (Chris); his sister-in-law Cathy Bryant; and his siblings' children, Carrie, Travis, Michelle, Emily and Katherine.
His generosity extended beyond his community—he was a lifelong blood, plasma, and platelet donor, and gave the ultimate gift through an altruistic kidney donation to a stranger.
