He is survived by: his significant other Lorraine Mattice McGuirk; his mother Josephine Seifridsberger McGuirk; his children, Charles McGuirk IV (Chuck), Sarah, Bridget and Molly Peer; his stepson Adam Colby; his grandchildren, Ava, Mara, Cain and Eva McGuirk; and his siblings, Matthew McGuirk (May), Maureen McIntyre (Steve), Gregory McGuirk (Divina), Eileen Catlin (David), Sean McGuirk (Chris) and Amy Shea (Matthais). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Langan Funeral Home (327 Main St, Schoharie, NY 12157).
