With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David R. Demarest of Wynantskill, New York, born in Troy, New York, who passed away on August 8, 2022 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Robert Demarest; his father-in-law George LaPlante, Jr.; his brother-in-law Matthew LaPlante; and his grandparents, Warren, Edith Hurley, Omer and Mary Demarest.

He is survived by : his mother Ellen Hurley Demarest; his wife Kimberly LaPlante Demarest; his sons, Joseph R. Demarest and Samuel G. Demarest; his siblings, Barbara Keough (Shawn) of Florida, Maryellen Carl (Mickey) of Wynantskill and Robert Demarest (Deborah) of Wynantskill; his nephews, Andrew Leonard, Jr., Christopher Leonard and Jacob Demarest; his mother-in-law Judi LaPlante; his stepmother-in-law Tricia LaPlante; and his sister-in-law Tammy Geibel.
