He is survived by : his wife Patricia Olchowy Miorin; his children, Maureen Miorin Cunningham (Anthony) of Hillsborough, NC, Melissa Miorin Sutton (Derek) and Michael John Miorin (Sandra) of Wynantskill; his grandchildren, Iain P. Cunningham (Haley Rank) of Denver, CO., Jacob Miorin, Dylan L. Sutton of Wynantskill, Jessye Cunningham Fincham (James) of Woodstock, GA, Samantha M. Miorin of Wynantskill, Delaney C. Sutton of Wynantskill and Demi J. Sutton of Wynantskill; his great grandchild Julian R. Fincham of Woodstock, GA.; and his siblings, Carole Nichols of Troy, Mary Ellen and Michael Miorin (late Nancy) of Wynantskill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to cemetery floral restrictions, memorial donations in John's name may be made to St. Jude the Apostle Church, 43 Brookside Avenue, Wynantskill, NY 12198, as John was one of the original altar servers in a tent before the church was built.
