It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John A. Richard of Wynantskill, New York, who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John A. Richard to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Richard and Eudocha Rondeau (Dolly); his sister Carol McCarron; and his son Tim (Sue). He is survived by: his significant other Rosalie B. Richard; his children, Jennifer Richard-Morrow (Kevin), Janet Miller (Jim) and John J. Richard (Linda); his grandchildren, Artemis, Candace, Jeremy, Stephanie and Nicholas; and his siblings, Nancy Donta (Sam) and Peter Richard (Cindy). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wynantskill Funeral Home (294 Whiteview Rd, Wynantskill, NY 12198). A burial will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the East Lawn Cemetery (605 Main St, Williamstown, MA 01267).
Donations may be made in John's name to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society in Menands.
