He was predeceased by: his parents, Giacomo Barone and Maria Carolina Barone; and his siblings, Frank, Ralph, Joseph, Raffelina and Amelia.

He is survived by: his wife Frances; his children, Loraine DiMatteo, Thomas (Rosemarie) and James (Regina); his grandchildren, Christopher Barone (Amber), Nicole O'Connor (Breon), Danielle, Jake and Gianna; and his great grandchildren, Nicholas and J. T.. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
