She is survived by: her husband Enrique Ortega; her siblings, Louisa Sillou and Heriberto "Eddie" Burgos; her daughters, Cynthia Holloway, Elizabeth Waisonovitz and Brenda Way (Stephen C. Way); her grandson Stephen James Way; her sister-in-law Maria Burgos; her siblings' children, Nova Ramos, Hector Burgos and Jorlui Sillau; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jessica, Paul Anthony, Josiah, Jade, Alexandra and Emanuel; and also Mason.
