She is survived by: her siblings, Ramona "Monin" Velez and Ricardo Miranda; her children, Griselle Flores, Elvin Cartagena, Nelson Cartagena and Hector Cartagena; and her grandchildren, Erica, Janette Melvin, Linette, Yvette, Elvis, Emily Cartagena, Nelson Jr., Karen Cartagena, Jessica and Hector Cartagena Jr.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
