She was predeceased by: her daughter Tina Campanaro; and her siblings, William Bulinski Jr. and Deborah Uvegas. She is survived by: her husband Paul Van Tassell (Yonkers Police Officer); her daughter Lori Giustino; her grandchildren, Michael, Nicholas Giustino, Amber and Ryan Campanaro; and her brother Ronald Bulinski. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
