Though Catherine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Catherine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her children, Patrick Mallon and Maryanne Colon (Manny); her grandchildren, Angela Rapa, Anthony Rapa and Kimberly Colon; and her brother Michael Sweeney.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sinatra Funeral Home (601 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the St. Barnabas Catholic Church (409 E 241st St, Bronx, NY 10470).
