He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Saldis Girven; his son Christopher; and his parents, Michael John Girven (Catherine McCabe Girven) and Kingsbridge. He is survived by: his sons, Charlie (Carol) and Kenneth (Regina Lynn); his grandchildren, Shannon, Erin, Kenny and Katy; his brothers, Joseph and Thomas; his friend Kathleen Saldis; his extended family Charles; and his grandson Charlie (Frank Dowd).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home & Cremation Services (732 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the St. Barnabas Church (409 E 241st St, Bronx, NY 10470). A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532).
