He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Purdy Sr. and Geraldine Purdy. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, David Jr., Heather and Robert; his grandchildren, Amari and David III; and his siblings, Kathy Michalak (Jeff) of Yonkers, Mary Browne (Brendan) of Yonkers, Kevin Purdy of Yonkers, Helen DiNoia (John) of Yonkers, James Purdy (Barbara) of Stormville and George Purdy (Diane) of Yorktown Heights. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
