Edda will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Edda by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Edda is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Edda’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred; her parents, John Maceo and Providenza Maceo; and her brother John Maceo. She is survived by: her sister Anita Creem. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc. (499 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704). A Mass was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. John the Baptist Church (670 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY 10701). A burial was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (10 W Stevens Ave, Valhalla, NY 10595).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rosary Hill Home in Thornwood, New York.
