He was predeceased by: his parents, Giulia Barisano and Nicola Fortuna; and his wife Annette Malacarne. He is survived by: his children, Julia Bonura and Frank Jr.; his grandsons, Joseph Bonura (Jennifer), Michael Bonura (Aimee) and James Bonura (Jessica); and also, Mikey, Jax, Jimmy, Jonny and Julia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
