He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Alessi and Anna Alessi (LiGreci); his wife Lynn; and his siblings, Benedict, Josephine, Nicholas, Rosalie and Ann Marie.
He is survived by: his son Anthony Gerard; his daughter-in-law Claire; his granddaughters, Jacqueline (Edward), Catherine (Ashok) and Stephanie (Michael); and his caregiver Bartek. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
