She was predeceased by: her husband Nunzio; and her siblings, Ines DiLello and Nino DiCola. She is survived by: her children, Lorraine D'Ambrosio (Pat) and Robert (Gina); her grandchildren, Patrick (Tricia), Christine Pietrosanti (AJ), Robert (Jessica), Angelina and Trisha; her great grandchildren, Ellie, Nicki, Hannah, Dominick and Vincent; and her sisters, Rita Gentile and Emma Esposito.
Donations in Gilda's memory can be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
