He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred "Millie" Gentile; and his brothers, Alphonso Gentile, Dominico Gentile, Giorgio Gentile, Ugo Gentile and Armando Gentile.
He is survived by: his children, Theresa DellaRipa (Dominick DellaRipa), AnnMarie Saltarelli (John Saltarelli) and Joseph Gentile; his grandchildren, Danielle Gentile (Conner Alexander), Joseph Gentile, Gabriella Gentile, Michael Gentile, Dominick DellaRipa (Coral DellaRipa), Joseph DellaRipa, John Saltarelli Jr. (Colleen Saltarelli), Nicolas Saltarelli (Traylee Saltarelli) and Christian Saltarelli; his great grandchild John William Saltarelli; and his brother Dante Gentile.
