He was predeceased by: his brother Jose Elias. He is survived by: his wife Maria Mercedes Suarez (Mercedes Vazquez); his children, Arthur Suarez (Angela), Maria Begoña Papakanakis and Susana Suarez; his sister Julia Suarez Guzman; and his granddaughters, Susie Papakanakis and Sammy Papakanakis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Flynn Memorial (1652 Central Park Ave, Yonkers, NY 10710). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the King Church (740 N Broadway, Yonkers, NY 10701).
