He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Magee and Jeanette Magee. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Charles Magee (Stacey) and Kelly Pavone (Peter); his grandsons, Vincent, Jack, Peter and Emerson; and his siblings, Eileen Doran, Pat Martucci (Tony) and Kathy Anderson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

“I wish that I could attend but will send along my fond memories of your dear husband and father. "Cousin H.I." visited us in West Virginia. When he was 15 or so to visit his Uncle Al & family.. My brothers thoroughly enjoyed their older cousin. He built a couple of models while he was there, one of them a tugboat. Perhaps in honor of his grandfather's NY harbor days! He had a ready laugh and liked to joke. With love to all of you in your loss and sorrow. Cousin Louise”
