He was predeceased by: his brother Joseph Ahearn; and his parents, Joseph Ahearn and Anne Loretta Ahearn. He is survived by: his children, James W. Ahearn Jr. and Alison Ahearn; and his sisters, Maryanne, Peggy and Eileen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
