It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan A. DeBronsky (Yonkers, New York), who passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Smith and Courtlandt Smith; and her husbands, George V. Hughes and James DeBronsky. She is survived by: her children, Georgene Mongarella (Joseph) of Bluffton, S. C., MaryAnn Freyer (Joel) of So, Joseph Hughes (Sarah) of Briarcliff Manor, N. Y. and Raymond Hughes (Lorraine) of Tarrytown, N. Y.; her grandchildren, Jacquelyn Boney (Tom), Georgia, John Freyer (Megan) of Ridgefield, Conn., Ryan Freyer So, Salem, Courtney Clark (Al) of Pound Ridge, N. Y, Amanda Kober (Jason) of West Lake, N. Y., Dana Prieato (Stephen) of White Plains, N. Y., Sarah Ann Hughes of Briarcliff Manor, N. Y. and Lauren Hughes Fuca (John) of Warwick, N. Y.; her great grandchildren, Natalie Freyer, Grace Freyer, Thea Freyer, Holland Freyer, James Freyer, Alwynn Clark, Siena Prieato and Carla Kober; and her significant other Frank Drahoos.
