He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Emanuel; and his son-in-law Jay O'Meara. He is survived by: his children, Diane Sammons (David), Linda O'Meara and John A. Emanuel (Jennifer Cherry); and his grandchildren, Austin, Emmy, Avery Sammons, JP, Christopher O'Meara, Everly and John Emanuel.
