It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John M. Lipscomb Sr. (Yonkers, New York), who passed away on February 23, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Irving Lipscomb, Sr. and Annie Lee Lipscomb (Shade); his son Keith X. Lipscomb; and his brothers, James B. Lipscomb and Charlie L. Lipscomb.
He is survived by: his wife Milagros D. Lipscomb (Mimi); his children, John M. W. Lipscomb, Jr. (Stacey) and Deneen Lipscomb; and his siblings, Joseph I. Lipscomb, Jr. Frankie L. (Loulena), Alice Vincent, Pauline Williams (Fred), Marlene Green Rose Lipscomb (Curtis), Shelby Major, Cecelia Lipscomb and Cynthia Lipscomb. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
