He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Alvaney; his children, John Scimeca (Susan), Michael Scimeca (Susan) and Theresa Barbagallo (Thomas); his grandchildren, Michelle Howard (Jeff), Matthew Scimeca (Nicole), Kristen and Danielle Barbagallo; and his great grandchildren, Olivia, Landon Howard, Grayson, Ellie Scimeca and Davian Healy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home & Cremation Services (732 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Saint John the Baptist Church (670 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Hope Cemetery (50 Jackson Ave, Hastings-On-Hudson, NY 10706).
