She was predeceased by: her parents, Giulia Masella and Thomas Masella; and her sister Anna Gallego. She is survived by: her husband Romeo J. Cartolano; her children, Anthony R. Cartolano (Karen Cartolano), Thomas Cartolano (Alessandra Cartolano) and Robert Cartolano (Lisa Cartolano); her grandchildren, Anthony L. Cartolano (Jeanette), Maria Cartolano, Kristine Logozio (Robert), Matthew Cartolano, Linda Paolino (Nick), David Cartolano, Mark Cartolano (Kelly), Amy Cartolano and Joseph Cartolano; her great grandchildren, Ryan, Kyle and Sarah Cartolano; and her sister Grace Lavaia. She is also survived by friends and neighbors.

Donations may be made to the American Heart Association in Julia's memory.
