He is survived by: his wife Lucille Nieves; his daughters, Geraldine Nieves-Mauro, Michele Nieves and Angela Nieves-Peteani; his grandchildren, Danielle, Stephanie, Samantha, Angela, Juliana and John; and his great grandchild Alessandra. He is also survived by his brother and sister; his nieces, nephews, and friends.
