He is survived by: his significant other's children, Paul "Redd" Brinson and Christina "Tina" Brinson; his children, Steven Carver (Sherri) of Roxboro, NC, Paul Brinson Yonkers (Alexis), Christina Brinson Bronx and Tamela Carter; his siblings, Carolyn, Jacqueline, Barbara Pettiford, Blondale Pettiford-Gamble Yonkers (Frank), Johnnie K. Pettiford Yonkers and William Brinson (Patricia); his granddaughters, Tiffany and Tayleana Latiminer; his stepgranddaughters, Taylor and Tai Briggs; and his grandsons, Jalen, Johnathan Carver and Justin Carter of Roxboro, NC.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
