We are sad to announce that on October 11, 2025, at the age of 91, Maria Uzdejczyk (Yonkers, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Uzdejczyk; her mother Jozefa Doroszincowa; and her sisters, Anna Dublanyk and Josephine Shcherby (Bohdan). She is survived by: her significant other Wolodymyr (Walter); her children, Roman Uzdejczyk (Martha) of Vernon, CT, Daria Horbachevsky (Andrij) of Yonkers, NY and Oksana Tomaszewsky (Michael) of Cortlandt Manor, NY.; her grandchildren, Natalie Horbachevsky, Juliana Horbachevsky, Christine Uzdejczyk Perry (Frank), Andrew Uzdejczyk, Matthew Tomaszewsky and Lukian Tomaszewsky; her great grandchildren, Frankie and Walter Perry; and her sibling's children, Slawka Laba (Mykola), Stefan Shcherby, Olga DeRosa (Louie) and Grazyna Otulakowski (Piotr).

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home (168 Park Ave, Yonkers, NY 10703). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church (22 Shonnard Pl, Yonkers, NY 10703). A committal service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery (141 Sarah Wells Trail, Campbell Hall, NY 10916).
