She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jose Volante and Anna Piedade Ferreira; her husband Manuel Leiriao; and her sons, Manuel V. Leiriao (Dionisia) of Yonkers, John Leiriao (Isabel) of Yonkers and Jose Leiriao (Cristina) of Yonkers. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
