She was predeceased by: her parents, Angelina Turiello and Vincenzo Turiello; and her sisters, Martha, Antoinette and Rose.
She is survived by: her husband Philip DeCandido; her children, Philip (Maria), Joseph (Donna), Richard (Donna Marie) and Diane; her grandchildren, Lori (Mike), Dawn (Anthony), Philip (Tara), Joseph (Renee), Anthony (Lauren), Kristen (Frank) and Alexa; and her great grandchildren, Brennan of Brooke, A. J., Andrew, Philip, Serena, Grant, Christian, Natalie, Vera, Blake, Leonardo, Clara, Lucia, Sage and Ivy. She is also survived by her family, Marie worked as a receptionist and switchboard operator but the roles she was most proud of in her lifetime were that of wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.
Gifts in lieu of flowers can be made in Marie's memory to Sacred Heart Church 40 Convent Ave, Yonkers NY 10703 and must specify, "In Memory of Marie DeCandido".
