She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, John (Noreen), Marian (Billy), Patricia (Paul), Michael (Kelly) and Eugene (Sharon); her grandchildren, Mark, Bernadette, Meghan, Bridget, Daniel, Sean Fitzgerald, Sean Gallen, Colin, Kathleen, Deirdre, Maura, Christopher, Kevin and Jennifer; and her great grandchildren, Harper, Jack, Luke, Charlotte, Evelyn, Nolan, Liam, Georgia, Eleanor, Patrick, Nicholas, Lucian, Layla and Makayla. She was also cherished by her many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Carmel's name to the Aisling Irish Community Center, 990 McLean Avenue Yonkers, NY 10707.
