She was predeceased by: her parents, James Whelan and Betty Whelan; her husband Joseph Richard "Dick" Durkin; her brother John Joe Whelan; and her parents-in-law, John Campbell, Martin Lynch, Eugene, Mary Durkin, John Durkin, Thomas and Corinne Durkin.

She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Quigg (Greg) and Marie McNamee (Frank); her grandchildren, Lauren Kant (Dan), Daniel McNamee, Kristen McNamee Lennon (Steve), Kevin Quigg and Connor McNamee; her great grandchildren, Lily Kant, Nora Kant and Liam Lennon; her sisters, Teresa Lynch, Delia Campbell and Dympna Whelan; and her parents-in-law, Margie, Richard Williams and Angela Whelan. She is also survived by Nephews, Nieces, Grandnephews, Grandnieces and Cousins.
