He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Domenico Montanille and Francesca Montanille; his wife Carmelina; his children, Francesca D'Ascanio (Bruno), Tricia Trotto (Carl) and Domenick Montanile; his grandson Angelo Trotto; and his siblings, Tina Napolitano, Frank Montanile and Egidio Montanile. He was also cherished by his many nephews, nieces, and friends.
