He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his children, Gianni, Eliana and Lauren; and his sister Theresa.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, June 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Flynn Memorial (1652 Central Park Ave, Yonkers, NY 10710). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Theresa of the Infant Jesus Church (2885 St Theresa Ave, Bronx, NY 10461).
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering in his memory or to the National Baseball Hall of Fame also in his memory and listing that it's for the bench program at the Hall of Fame, one of his favorite places, and where the family plans to dedicate a bench.
